We still have the family cottage on Hudsons Bay that he purchased the lot for in 1957. He was a guide on the Big Rideau for Lake Trout for many years, and a lot of people used to follow our little blue boat. He knew every shoal there is at the bottom, long before sonar and fishfinders.
