Hello, I was a resident of Portland, from 1952 until the early 70’s. I had always heard that David Niven had been a guest at the large white frame cottage on Sheep Island in the 1930’s era. I had also heard that gangsters from Chicago had also stayed at that same cottage during the prohibition period. Something that may lend some truth to the gangster story I will now relate.
